Does the video need to be the right side of the bike and rider?

Bike Fast Fit works with video of right or left side as well as video from the from the front or rear of the bike and rider.

Not having a trainer, could I just lean against the wall and pedal in the reverse direction?

That's a creative solution and it should work for a rough estimate. Pedaling under load changes some angles, so reverse pedaling won't be as accurate.

Will this work on a mountain bike as well?

Bike Fast Fit EZ and Bike Fast Elite will work with all types of bicycles.

How can I export a video I can post on You Tube?

With Bike Fast Fit Elite, you can create a .mov file with the measurements displayed. On the video page just choose Video Report from the menu.

Do the apps provide recommendations on optimal angles, or are they something you have to determine?

Both Bike Fast Fit EZ and Bike Fast Fit Elite provides recommendations for saddle positioning and additional guidance for the upper body positioning. Bike Fast Fit Elite also has the analysis of knee tracking for videos taken from the front.

Will there be an Android version?

We are a small company with limited development resources and a long list of ideas for improving Bike Fast Fit. Our goal is to build the best bike fitting app. We decided to concentrate on improving the iOS app rather than build an Android version.

Will there be a Mac version?

All of the Bike Fast Fitapps will work as iOS apps on Macs with Apple Silicon. We are looking into developing a true Mac app using Bike Fast Fit technology.

What is the Pro Feature Upgrade?

The Pro Feature Upgrade was an in app purchase in Bike Fast Fit Elite that allowed bike shops to rebrand the bike fit reports for their own commercial use. This feature is no longer available for purchase, but all of it's functionality and much more has been replaced with Bike Fast Fit Pro.

How can I measure Knee Alignment?

You can measure Knee Alignment in a front profile video.

The distance measurements seem off, what could the problem be?

Distance measurements on videos are typically within +/- 5% accuracy. A variety of things contribute to that error and we continue to try to improve accuracy.

How do I share my fit with someone else?

Tapping the Share button in gives you the option to share a data file (the video and associated data which can only be opened by a Bike Fast Fit app) or a pdf Report with others. Bike Fast Fit Elite and Bike Fast Fit Pro also have a Video Report that creates a copy of the video showing the data on top of the video.

What kind of sticker should I use to mark body joints?

All of the Bike Fast Fit apps now user markerless tracking and do not need markers placed on the rider. Bike Fast Fit Pro has the ability to supplement the markerless tracking by placing markers on points that you would like to tailor the placement on. Bright colored circular stickers about an inch in diameter are recommended.

Is there a way to make the video recording session longer?

Sorry, there isn't. On most phones filming at 240 frames/sec, a 3.5 sec video provides about 4-5 revolutions of the crank and 800 frames to analyze. We tried to find a balance between capturing enough data to understand all of the angles in the pedal stroke with the time and space required to analyze everything.

Will the Bike Fast Fit apps work with older iPads and iPhones?

Yes, though the apps require at least iOS 15.0 to work, which excludes some older devices.

Do I have to buy the app again to put it on my other iPad/iPhone?

The purchase of our app is tied to your Apple ID. You can load the app on all of your devices using that Apple ID.
